THE OLD SCHOOL BUS

The Old School Bus offers guests a truly unique accommodation experience. Overlooking the Wollemi National Park with views to Mt Irvine, the Old School Bus provides everything you need for a relaxing break away.

Transformed from its original layout, the bus provides –

  • 2 x luxurious single beds with electric blankets.

Located only 3 minutes from Bilpin Village (Grumpy Baker and The Roadhouse) and central to all the wedding venues.

Bells Rest offers two beautifully appointed bedrooms, one with king bed capturing the morning sunrise with doors opening onto the rear balcony, TV with Netflix and walk in robe. The second with two extra long single beds and views to the garden at the front of the property ( This bed can be configured as a king bed upon request “at time of booking” – $20 fee applies )

With vaulted ceilings and glowing timber floors the open plan living area comprises of a perfect dining setting for four guests, cosy fireplace, comfortable lounges , smart TV , with Netflix, free to air TV and WIFI.

The space also provides reverse cycle air – conditioning, ceiling fans and a knock out view.

Ensuring easy meal preparation the well equipped kitchen offers a compact oven, microwave, two burner hotplates and coffee machine.

The lounge room opens to a large covered verandah with spectacular views, BBQ and outdoor dining furniture provided.

Bells Rest is set at the top of Bellbird Hill and offers guests a perfect location whilst attending many of the Hawkesbury’s wedding venues such as – The Turpentine Tree, Loxley on Bell Bird Hill, Chapel Hill, Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens to name a few.

Bells Rest is within walking distance to local eateries – Lochiel Restaurant and the Tandoori Sizzler plus the local IGA with bottle shop. A short drive away you will experience all that Kurrajong Village and Bilpin has to offer locals and visitors alike.

Blue Apple Lodge has everything to ensure a fabulous mountain holiday escape! Private, with fenced yard looking over acres to the National Park, you won’t be disappointed with the quality and location. Fully self contained including all the basics, you can self cater or visit the local eateries, cellar doors and farm gates including the Bilpin Produce Markets -Saturday 9 -12pm. The property has a fully fenced yard and pets are allowed upon application.
